Your kids will love making these easy white chocolate pretzel wreaths to celebrate the festive season! You likely have all the ingredients on hand already for this no-bake recipe.
This dietitian and mom of 3 kiddos loves making up these quick and pretty holiday snacks! Salty pretzels and pistachios, sweet white chocolate and sprinkles – what could be merrier? I say being in and out of the kitchen in 20 minutes or less with a plate of cheery snacks to show for it! Say less.
Holiday baking has always been one of my most cherished activities. I have so many precious memories of baking with my mom at this time of year, and I love passing on this experience where my children and I come together to connect and make memories over baking and sharing laughter. Sure, it gets a little messy but it’s all part of the fun!
Why I make these Quick and Easy White Chocolate Pretzel Wreaths
This year, I decided that fast and easy was the theme, so we are making a festive selection of no-bake holiday snacks such as No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Reindeer Snacks and these cheery wreaths. (Try my super-fast, effortless Easy Overnight Cinnamon Buns, too! We are serving them on Christmas morning this year!). These sweet and salty white chocolate coated pretzel wreaths were so fun to create and eat. I added crunchy pistachios for a touch of green colour and protein, but there is more to food than nutrition, so I highly recommend using decadent creamy white chocolate, traditional sprinkles and licorice lace bows when making these.
How to make these holiday treats
It’s so simple. First, I like to arrange my pretzels into a wreath shape before my kids or I dip them to make it even easier.
Then, we go ahead and dip the pretzels into melted chocolate, and return them to the parchment.
Do the same thing again to create a top layer for dimension and prettiness (and, of course, more yumminess!)
Add your chopped pistachios and festive sprinkles.
Loop on a licorice lace bow, then pop them into the freezer to chill for 10 minutes.
Pop them in the freezer to chill for 10 minutes, then shake the wreaths to dislodge any excess pistachios and sprinkles.
These snacks are such a great last-minute holiday recipe, they come together so quickly and are loved by children and grown ups alike!
