Counselling Registered Dietitian – Women’s Health
We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian with a passion for nutrition counseling and a specific interest and expertise in Women’s Health in the province of Alberta
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a registered dietitian who is looking for a collaborative practice but an independent and flexible position.

- Are creative and a “think outside the box” dietitian
- Have had at least 5 (preferably 10+) years of experience with personalized nutrition counseling
- Have flexibility and availability during both daytime and some evening appointment slots
- Are independent, ambitious, organized, motivated and driven to become part of a successful and thriving Canadian nutrition counseling practice

- Are able to translate the complex science of nutrition in a relatable, compassionate and engaging way
Assets:
- Intuitive Eating certification
- Experience in the area of pediatric nutrition as well as women’s health
- Advanced training in areas such as perimenopause/menopause nutrition, PCOS, Fertility Nutrition, Adult neurodivergence (ADHD) and nutrition, weight concerns/challenges
- Masters degree
- Are registered to practice in Alberta
Position:
- Part-time counseling registered dietitian (independent contractor)
- Location: Alberta
- We are specifically looking for a team member with expertise in Women’s Health (intuitive eating, weight concerns, hormonal complications and nutrition, perimenopause/menopause, PCOS) but it would be ideal if this dietitian also had experience in and felt comfortable with pediatric nutrition
- Must have flexibility during the day (and some evenings) to see clients virtually
- Availability 2-3 days or more per week for bookings.

Qualifications:
- 5-10 or more years of Dietitian experience.
- Experience in Women’s Health, Pediatric Nutrition and Intuitive Eating Model
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Alberta and/or Ontario
- Malpractice and Liability insurance (or willingness to purchase).
- Excellent interpersonal, teaching, communication and leadership skills.
- Confident, compassionate, encouraging, and keen to motivate clients.
- Enjoys meal planning, cooking and creative solutions using a non-diet approach for a variety of lifestyles and nutrition challenges.
- Enjoys networking, working with others and participating in team rounds (and likes to have fun!)
- Motivated to grow their practice
